She has specific expertise in credit hire, having had roles in both the intermediary market and as Operations Director for one of the country's leading providers of credit hire and accident management services.

SG Consultancy was established in 2008 as a result of requests from litigators acting on behalf of insurers to provide fact based spot rate evidence to support their handling of negotiations and defence of litigation arising from credit hire. Coupled with fraud, credit hire claims are now acknowledged to be one of the major sources of claims leakage.

Some insurers have either withdrawn, or are considering withdrawal, from the ABI GTA and many find themselves faced with protracted settlement negotiations. Robust information about rates is vital to Insurers and their partners' ability to successfully resolve such cases and minimise claims leakage.

Whilst SG Consultancy's robust process of obtaining spot rate evidence does not vary, the range of vehicles certainly does. We continue to have success with private and commercial vehicles ranging from standard to prestigious marques and we are able to survey motorcycles and taxis, where our competitors encounter difficulties.

In addition to standard spot rate evidence, SG Consultancy can provide its clients with comparative credit hire rates to assist in cases involving non-standard drivers, or where impecuniosity is pleaded.
